Non-Continuing Lecturer Position in French at Northwestern University
Northwestern University’s Department of French and Italian invites applications for a non-continuing lecturer position to teach one or two French language and culture courses in person during the Fall Quarter, 2021. Duties will begin on September 13, 2021 and end December 14. Native or near-native proficiency in French and in English and prior experience in teaching French as FL/L2 at the post-secondary level required. PhD or ABD in French or in a related field preferred. Applications consisting of a cover letter, CV, and student course evaluations from at least 2 courses taught in the last three years should be submitted as a single PDF to email@example.com. In addition, two letters of recommendation (one of which should address excellence in teaching) must be submitted to the same email address. Candidates are welcome to include a statement of teaching philosophy. Applications will be given priority consideration if received by May 5, 2021, with letters arriving by May 11.
